My name is Jacqui, and I’m a tea, creative nonfiction, and graphic design enthusiast living in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. I recently graduated with degrees in magazine journalism and geography from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Maxwell Schools, respectively.

I’ve loved tea in all forms since I was a small child. I grew up drinking Barry’s Irish tea with my great-grandmother – who emigrated from Sligo County at age 19 – and sipping weak Chinese brews from handle-less cups at the Golden Bowl Chinese restaurant in Quincy, MA.

Tea bags, loose tea, powdered blends, whatever. Put it in front of me and I’ll earnestly sip it.
